Andrew Bloomer Associates launched in December 2003, and was established by Andrew Bloomer and Helen Hodge, who at the time had over twenty years' experience of legal recruitment between them.


The company specialises in the recruitment of partners, solicitors, legal executives and other fee earners, cost draftspeople and negotiators, chief executives, practice managers and accounts personnel for the legal profession. In addition, we are also involved in practice sales & acquisitions and mergers.

Geographically, Andrew Bloomer Associates recruit throughout the Midlands up to the borders with Scotland. We have an extensive knowledge of the entire legal marketplace, enabling us to provide a full consultancy service to individuals looking for another position, firms looking to recruit additional staff or simply to provide salary advice and information or general advice in relation to trends and changes within the industry.

Our approach to recruitment is quite simple - we aim to provide an honest, thorough and professional service to both candidates and clients, operating with the utmost integrity. We endeavour to meet as many of our candidates as possible so that we can assess their suitability for the firm in question and the position applied for, as well as their own particular requirements. Of course, it goes without saying that we aim to meet as many of our clients as possible so that we can develop an in-depth knowledge of the operation and the environment in order to better market them to our candidates. Naturally, we would never send a candidate's CV to any third party without their express permission.
